This is so interesting. This weekend I was trying to get away from a deaf guy so I would turn away from him or at least break eye gaze, but that didn't work, he just kept tapping on my shoulder to resume the conversation.

I am curious if the eye gaze thing changes depending on who the adult is. My little nephew wont look his parents in the eyes when he's in trouble, but If I say something he doesn't like he glares at me! ha. I am curious how it will be with his teacher when he goes to school.

I definitely think it's hard to hide the emotion you're feeling in your body language, but I think sometimes the way we sit or stand or whatever is just a comfortable position, and it may not necessarily mean something. Like you said, there will be other signs along with it.
