About Chemical Swings
Singer/Songwriter Philip Shearing started the Chemical Swings in the spring of 2006. Touring Ontario with the Get Sets in 2006, the Chemical Swings have played with acts such as These Electric Lives, Mit City, Radius & Helena, Mile Over Mecca, Uncle Daddy, and Campfire Bonfire. Since then, they have also played with The Receiver and Paul Michel.

Their single "Raw" is scheduled to appear on a new Toronto sitcom ("Modern Convenience") which will air in the fall of 2006. Also, the Swings plan to record a 5 song EP in the spring of 2007.

Despite a couple of lineup changes (and a suckerpunch or two), the Chemical Swings are still forging on like brave little fire ants.

Lend them your ears and they will sing to you of runaway hobo trains & dirty drunkards waiting for their dole cheque, of lost women with question-mark morals and drippy noses, and blotted nights that pour like wicked wine.
