You asked where to get liquid nitrogen: Assuming you just want a little to experiment with, you should find someone who uses it (like a university lab) and ask them to give you some. You will need a thermos bottle to hold it. Use a thermos that does not have any plastic parts, since these will freeze and shatter under the extreme cold. Get an "unbreakable" stainless steel thermos bottle. I doubt you will be able to buy liquid nitrogen because of "security" and "liability" concerns, unless you are a business and can establish an account with a supplier like Air Products or Praxair.
