All nations before Him are as nothing, and they are counted to Him less than nothing - even vanity. To whom then will you liken God? What likeness will you compare unto Him? Haven't you known? Haven't you heard? Hasn't it been told to you since the beginning? Haven't you understood from the founding of earth? It is HE that sits upon the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants thereof are like grasshoppers. It is HE that stretches out the heavens as a curtain, and spreads them out as a tent to dwell in. It is HE that brings the princes to naught. It is HE who makes the judges of the earth as vanity. 'To whom then will you liken me? To whom shall I be equal?', says the Holy One. Lift up your eyes above, and behold who has created these things, and directs the multitudes by number. He calls them all by their name through His majesty. Through His mighty power, none of them fail. Haven't you known, and haven't you heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, faints not, nor becomes weary? None discern His limitless understanding. He gives power to the faint and strengthens the weak. Even the youths faint and become weary, and the young men utterly fall. But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint. -Isaiah 40
