I've been playing guitar for 4 years and I'm pretty much self-taught w/ the electric.
The only formal lessons I've ever had are w/ the acoustic. Right now I'm taking lessons in Afro-Latino Jazz type stuff, i.e. rumba, bossanova, flamenco, etc.

I recommend the collection album, The Reign of Leather which has some great tracks. Remastered just last year.
Personally I think the only way to hear Chastain is with the old dusty LP,s. Not too dusty mind you, they're still good.
