I am 23 years old living in Northern California. I am a supper animal activist and have 3 cats I absolutely adore.

I have been depressed and severely overweight sense I was nine years old. In 2006 I attempted suicide and have been on an emotional roller coaster ever sense. I was diagnosed with BPD, Bipolar, anxiety, reoccurring dissociative states, and PTSD. I finally got the treatment that I need; a great counselor and psychiatrist.

Over the last 2 years I have grown immensely. However in early 2007 I injured my back and have not been able to walk for more than 5 minutes due to excruciating pain in my lower back and down my leg. I gained 50 lbs. Come to find out after 8 months of pain I have a perforated disk in my lower lumbar region and the nucleolus of the disk is laying on my nerve causing the searing pain.

I have decided to create a video blog of my journey through depression and weight loss surgery. I will be documenting my corrective back surgery, my weight loss surgery, and my journey through depression.
