When I first heard this song I could only think of John Simm's (and Derek Jacobi's) reincarnation of the Master. Yes the Master. The rival (also one of the last) Time Lord to the Doctor.

This video like how the title and song suggests is about how the drumming in the Master's mind caused him to do so much evil and drove him insane. Special highlight to the "The End of Time Part 1" and "The End of Time Part 2". Where we discover the true meaning of the haunting drum beat in the Master's mind and so forth. The video further escalates with the craziness of the drumming, getting closer and louder with each moment.

Side Note: Today in my Theater Class I acted out a famous scene between the Doctor and the Master in the episode "The Sound of Drums". It was the phone call scene which only further made me want to do this video.

It was great fun doing the music for this because the "Do Kro Blo Co" sample worked really well as a backing track. It also sounds pretty silly, which is what I wanted to achieve. The rest of the song is comprised of some drum-loops and I came up with some melodies derived from the Doctor Who theme.   less
