As an American, the thing that I admire about Britain is that their news media is very open and fair. The average Brit knows what is going on in the United States better than Americans do. For example, most Americans are not aware of Tony Blair's speech before Parliament that the war in Iraq is a war for Israel, or the USS Liberty and Mordechai Vanunu --- but these things were covered by the BBC. Then there was "The Israel Lobby" published by the LONDON Review of Books. Richard Dawkins knows that US foreign policy is controlled by the Jewish Lobby in America.

I doubt that that when Israel drags the US into a war with Iran, that Britain would go along with it.
