What is ironically odd here is that Katy Perry (a.k.a. Katy Hudson) has some Jewish ancestry by way of her Mother (whose family name is actually Perry). It seems that she is a well-liked star in contemporary Germany. What a different place that country is 70 years later.

Both of those amp demonstrations sounded only somewhat distorted. If they had been "totally maxed-out", wouldn`t there have been an utterly fuzzed, saturated-power-amp type of sound ?

The original version of this song is in the key of E, not G; however, it is easier to play the bass riff along with this transpostion. This song was the Rolling Stones`s offing for the "Punk Rock/New Wave" trend of the late `70s. It was considerably better than most of the crap that constituted that genre; but it shouldn`t be overlooked that it (appearantly) was intended to cater to that market.

This clip just goes to show you -; if your talented enough and professional enough, all you need is a second guitar player and a couple of "backing tracks" (bass and percussion) to still sound wonderful. I hope this duo manages to have a lasting career.
