Please Note: All video footage of Charissa is LIVE, no editing or studio recordings added to footage, what you see and hear is authentic...I am a 14 year old Country/pop singer/songwriter/performer/guitarist/drummer. I have been performing in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Ohio and Nashville, since age 7 with my own country band, Charissa & Auburn Sky since 10. I feel I have worked hard to have accomplished many great things already. I am a Nashville recording artist and just released my newest original, SIMPLY TOGETHER produced by Shawn Bryne, and Nick Buda and Tim Marks who also played for some of Taylor Swift's albums, Simply Together also complete with MUSIC VIDEO directed and produced by Bruno Fioravanti from Brazil July 2011! I released my 2010 CD EP with Guitar Girls Records under the direction of producer Skip Saylor and songwriter Lynn Saylor in California. I have several singles available for sale on CD BABY and iTunes, one titled, Hold On And Breathe (which has also been adopted by the AFSP (American Foundation of Suicide Prevention) portions of purchase proceeds will go directly to support the cause. This project has special meaning to me as I lost a dear friend/dance instructor age 21 to suicide so I would greatly appreciate your support! In addition, I have recorded several songs with Shawn Byrne (lead guitarist of Rodney Atkins Band) and we plan on working together on future projects! I have shared the stage with and or opened for country superstars such as Phil Vassar, Neal McCoy, Rodney Atkins, LeAnn Rimes, Gretchen Wilson, Kellie Pickler, Billy Ray Cyrus, Bucky Covington,Billy Currington, Trick Pony, Lonestar, Jo Dee Messina, Danielle Peck, Oakridge Boys, Joe Diffie, Pat Green and Chuck Wicks. I also opened for Disney's Mitchel Musso, Cody Simpson, Honor Society, Jimmy Robins and KSM Band at the House of Blues in Chicago in 2009 / 2010. Me and Auburn Sky Band won the Battle of the Bands Contest and opened for Phil Vassar, Neal McCoy and Heidi Newfield in 2010! In addition we won the Rock the Ark Battle of the Bands and will perform at Noah's Ark 2010. I was the Wisconsin State Champion in the nations largest country music performer contest in the nation, Colgate Country Showdown 2007. I set several new records with this contest, one being the youngest ever to make it all the way to Regionals,first child ever to win State Championship title and first time ever, unanimous judges vote at Wisconsin State Contest 2007. I wasn't able to enter for the past few years due to conflicting tour schedules but I am very pleased that I was able to enter and win the Colgate Country Showdown for WTKM radio and will once again have the chance to advance to State level at WI State Fair 8-5-10! I have worked on several performance projects with Michael Yerke, LIVE NATION's top talent buyer and President of the House of Blues, made my first music/video to an original song titled, Come On Now, in 2008. In Oct. 2009 I aired on 2 t.v. shows in Nashville, called Nashville Spotlight and am scheduled to air again in 2010, 2011! First show will air in March 2010!
