About Charge of the Light Brigade
The Foo Fighters and The Pixies fall into the teleporter from The Fly. Charge comes out of the other pod, fierce and rockin'. Still waiting for body parts to fall off.
Charge of the Light Brigade is Luke Sneyd (guitars, vocals), Jason Eagan (bass, vocals), Marc Koecher (keys, guitars, vocals) and Owen Tennyson (drums). The band's debut EP We Haven't Been Properly Introduced (2010) and follow-up full-length The Defiant Ones (2011) have been getting great notices at home in Canada and abroad. Lithium Magazine calls Charge "Canada's next indie rock sensation", and they've been featured by Consequence of Sound and Alan Cross's ExploreMusic site. The band's wide-ranging sensibility draws on irresistible pop and eclectic punk with a fiercely independent stance, creating a unique and promising brew.
