i understand your point. but unlike the stereotype that is placed on most pro lifers i believe in sex ed and the availability of condoms and i would encourage informing young women on how to prevent a pregnancy. there's no stopping young people from having sex so i see these as solutions to prevent pregnancy rather that become pregnant and then abort. i mean it comes down to responsibility. and if people are better informed and have better access to these things without feeling embarrassed or whatever about it then if they do get pregnant its their responsibility. dont take this the wrong way but i see it as somewhat selfish of your friend to abort the child. if your sexually active you ought to take all the precautions if you want to prevent pregnancy, and you also have to realize that something potentially could go wrong. saying oops and aborting your problem is pretty immoral in my book.

i see your point. what about this: abortion only legal in a proven rape case, or an underage girl, or if the mother is at risk. and the first two would only be legal during the first trimester.
