As a suggestion, instead of randomly spawning or falling from the sky, perhaps they could have an animation where they burrow up from the ground ala Night of the Living Dead? Perhaps they would need one dirt or grass block to spawn to balance it.

One thing I'm lost at is why there aren't any subcapital ships. I mean yes carriers and dreadnaughts are game changers but surely Hanland and Spiritwolf have not overlooked the advantages of frigates, destroyers and cruisers.

If we didn't go to the moon, then why did the Soviet Union accept that we made it there first? When Apollo launched, every satellite and telescope they had was focused on the craft. Spies were even within NASA. If they had known something was up, they would have screamed it from the rooftops. It was the cold war, so there is no way they would have followed along with the "hoax".
