Documentaries
1-9 of 9The web documentary seeks to generate discussion and inspire students to learn more about the topic. In some cases, the web documentary can inspire students to take action on a particular issue. It can incorporate multiple perspectives to evoke curiosity, awareness and, in some cases, an emotional response. To this end, a mix of multimedia - photography, text, audio, video, animation and info graphics - is used for maximum impact. The use of visual metaphors, dialogue, and/or real-life contexts helps students learn in ways that most traditional online or lecture-based materials do not.
