Our entire criminal justice system needs an overhaul ~ some people are sent to jail who do not belong there and others who belong locked up for life are out doing the same crime that sent them to jail the first time ~ smarter as to not get caught (serial rapists, killers, especially those who kidnap young children, torturing them before killing) ~

Not providing transistion help is a large cause of creating career criminals. Some are lucky to have family and friends to provide shelter, but in our poor economy, jobs are scarce.
