Having a keen interest in martial arts early on, Sensei Armando began his training as a young boy in Mexico. After moving to the United States his training continued. It was when Sensei began his study of Yamashita Shorin Ryu that he felt he had found his real passion. Given the privilege to train with world renowned Hanshi Tadashi Yamashita, Sensei Armando is grateful for having the opportunity to learn from the world's best. The knowledge he gains from his training he readily passes on to his students. It is Sensei Armando's dream to continue his physical and spiritual training with Hanshi Yamashita and to pass the Yamashita Shorin Ryu art of karate on to future generations. Not just in Oceanside California but around the world.
