yeah this is hidiehoho when i tell you this you will laugh, Bass Pro told me it couldn't be done. so i did it, i bought a BB gun scope, throw away the scope and kept the mounts. i put the mounts upside down on the ranger barrel (small sand paper shim rec. 320 grit). Next i bought a scope bar 3/8 dove tail on one side and 3/4 on the other and mounted it, 3/8 to the BB gun side, then mounted my favorite scope to the other 3/4 side if you don't get this post an email address and will send pics.
