I have been back in my home town, West Monroe, Louisiana for 6 months as of April 26. I really miss all the friends I made last year in Baton Rouge, and I go to visit when I have the opportunity. I left Baton Rouge for a career advancement, and I am really enjoying my new job. My coworkers are pretty great as far as coworkers go! I am working as a GIS Technician (geographic information systems). More specifically, I use GIS to make maps and analyses of proposed routes of petroleum pipelines. Some of the things on my wish list to do in 2010 are visit New York City, go sky-diving and write more!

I love nature, dogs, computers and the Internet, travelling, new music, easy cooking, reading sci-fi and working on my fitness at the gym. Something peculiar (I think) that I really like is thinking about all the small choices we make in life and how they can affect our and other's lives in huge ways! I think about this every single day. I have not consumed the flesh of an animal in 9 years now! I believe humanity should focus on lessening our impact on the environment just as much as we should attempt to balance out our damaging affect. I am a very cerebral person, so I am constantly struggling to realize the emotional side to my personality. I LOVE a good argument.
