He was so young back then when they started. He put a solo album out that told me he could of had his own band from day one. He was so straight and so wise. To break after touring to work with other people for your own album is a great trick to avoid nasty habits for escape.

With no lessons and picking the music up by hearing it I noticed certain notes worked and others didn't. It took awhile, but the theory is what taught us. Not the opposite. Happy, sad, strange, upset, all have names and involve moving or using maybe just one note. Fast picking has it's place like...
