He was so young back then when they started. He put a solo album out that told me he could of had his own band from day one. He was so straight and so wise. To break after touring to work with other people for your own album is a great trick to avoid nasty habits for escape.

I don't see why anyone would need a 360 dollar pedal to play like that. Especially with an amp like that. If he slowed down maybe we could hear the bass not drop out like on the 110 dollar 'fuzzbox'.

Sting knows who he wrote his words about. It could even be an old car, bass, band member, or woman. I don't think virginity was his subject though. U never know. A very good song. A pop study in major chords all moving the 3rd up or down. Great guitar sound.

With no lessons and picking the music up by hearing it I noticed certain notes worked and others didn't. It took awhile, but the theory is what taught us. Not the opposite. Happy, sad, strange, upset, all have names and involve moving or using maybe just one note. Fast picking has it's place like...
