@cgrigg75 By betraying those clan members you may be able to farm again, just make sure you have learned everything they are willing to teach you 1st. Also just on other side of this Clan Leader's position on the Bridge is a boss. So Be forewarned. Good Luck.

I killed the 1st merchant in other area by 1st bonfire. The Morning Star is a lot better. plus it's mainly a hack and slash game so you're better off with this merchant alive imho.

Have you figured out how to get the soul on the other side of the opposite staircase? It's a broken Staircase with a body just on the other side. But it's locked from the above. I'm still trying to figure it out.

There's a Flaw in this method on the Ps3 version, The Spell itself doesn't knock them out completely sometimes and they will get back up and run, Then you get an error saying Target is Fleeing. Unable to pickpocket.
