Thank you, Don! My son, Adam, also a composer/conductor, found this great clip honoring Eubie Blake, and noticed his gramps, Allyn Ferguson, conducting The Orchestra with Andrae Crouch Singers. What a wonderful memory of some brilliant men!

@FigurinItOut This movie was released as a Motion Picture in the UK, that's why it was longer. When they showed it in the US, they cut it, along with my father's music, which was scored specifically for this movie...Allyn Ferguson, composer.

@MrLunitunz You are certainly right about all of the above. Nothing compares to the old TV themes...I know, my dad composed many of the scores. I'm proud to have been around so much talent and music!

I am new to your site, very interested in learning and eating differently (I do have a PhD), and it seems you have very well-researched material, did you ever consider that perhaps so...

Copyright laws are very clear about what is considered "stolen". Obviously, there are at least 8 bars of music in which the notes are EXACTLY the same as the melody from Coldplay...that's enough to consider it a "copied" version. The law is clear, so it boils down to whether someone wants to purs...
