About Me:
Dakotta was born since 4 years ago, in Tlaxcala, Mexico, a really quiet place near to Mexico City. The bands sound was build by different music tastes, which include genres like post rock, indie, instrumental, progressive,etc. We were influenced by bands like Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, 65daysofstatic, Sigur Ros, God Is An astronaut, Hacia Dos Veranos, and other similar bands. We have played in some rock festivals in places near our town, with local bands, and in a rock festival organized by Mexico City government with prestigious band here. Now, the members of Dakotta are Cerón, Nafta, Juan Luis, and Yesca. We are recording our first discographic material, whit songs like Inside and we hope will be ready by the end of the year. The rest of the songs can be listened in our myspace.
Dakotta nació desde hace 4 años, en Tlaxcala, Mexico, realmente un lugar tranquilo cerca de la Ciudad de México. La banda de sonido fue construido por los diferentes gustos musicales, que incluyen géneros como el post rock, indie, instrumental, progresivo, etc Nos fueron influenciados por bandas como Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, 65daysofstatic, Sigur Ros, Dios es un astronauta, Hacia Dos Veranos, y otras bandas similares. Hemos jugado en algunos festivales de rock en lugares cerca de nuestra ciudad, con bandas locales, y, en un festival de rock organizado por el gobierno de la ciudad de México con prestigio banda aquí. Ahora, los miembros de Dakotta se Cerón, Nafta, Juan Luis, y la Yesca. Estamos grabando nuestro primer material discográfico, Con canciones como "Inside" y esperamos que estará listo a finales de año. El resto de las canciones se pueden escuchar en nuestro myspace.
