Walter Dalton
North Carolina Lt. Gov. Walter Dalton visited Central Carolina Community College's Harnett County Campus April 28 and spoke on the future of community colleges. He said community colleges will work ever closer with public schools, universities, and businesses in workforce education. He said photonics -- the use of light -- is one of the fields that will drive the new economy. Dalton then toured the college's Laser and Photonics Technology program.
