DACIA FOREVER!

Herodot stated that the Getae-Dacians were the most just and the bravest from all the Thracians. They belong to the Thracian family and were also related with the Illyrians!
Dacians (also known as Daco-Getae or Getae-Dacian) are the direct ancestors of today Romanians.
Archaeological discoveries, linguistic evidences, old chronicles, artefacts as well as folklore and mythology testifies in favor of this historical truth! Dacians were an unique people in ancient Europe and one of the oldest in Europe. Their language was similar to Latin even before the Roman conquest. The Romans only conquered a small part of Dacia, big part of it remaining free of Roman influence. The continuity on this lands leads to the obvious conclusion that the modern Romanian is the direct descendant of the old Dacian language (or Daco-Roman, as some use to claim) and today Romanians (plus all the other Vlachs) are the direct descendants of the ancient Dacians!
