You didn't compare lenses, you compared a Pentax kit to a Nikon kit. the only way to compare the lenses is to by using the same imaging device.
You also seem to have compared kits in two different classes. Unsure what Nikon body that is, but that's the BUDGET version of the Pentax 55-300.
