Part 2 of astronorm111,s Youtube account. The photo is of Supernova1987A which is probably now a black hole. The star exploded 170,000 years ago it's called Sanduleak. It's in the Tarantula Nebula of the Large Megellantic Cloud, a sister galaxy of the Milky Way ( 170,000 light years away). It exploded in 1987 and it took 170,000 years for the light to reach us on February 23, 1987. It was a large Blue Giant star. So cool.
