Internews, Panos and IIED have joined forces to support developing world journalism and perspectives from the heart of the international climate negotiations. Over 40 journalists from Asia, Africa and Latin America are participating in a climate media fellowship programme designed to improve media coverage of the Poznan UN Climate Summit and climate change issues in developing countries.
The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Climate Change Media Partnership are working together at the UNEP Governing Council /Global Ministerial Forum in Monaco 19-22 February 2008. Four Climate Media Fellows are reporting directly from the Monaco Forum - the largest gathering of environment ministers and key players in the climate change arena since Bali. At the centre of the Forum is the challenge to find concrete ways forward in mobilizing finance for climate change.
