I broke my patella the growth plate and they applied a cylinder cast but then as my leg atrophied it was really loose and not fitting right so they cut it off and put a long leg cast on instead.

they use cold water. The warmth you feel when they put the cast on is a chemical reaction between the ingredients in the fiberglass and the water. I had a LLC put on about a week ago and they explained that to me.

I dislocated my kneecap and got repositioning surgery.... it hurt after (and before) and I had a wrap until they took my stitches out, then a long leg cast for 6 weeks!!! Sucks to get an operation!

We are using this in a school musical (original script) and a 12 year old boy sings it... higher than bobby, of course! He has such a raw, naturally talented voice, and he's so fun to listen to!
