Nice. Voevoda will pull a skinny Michael Todd, but won't go near the 230 pound Brzenk of that time period..please, nut huggers enough already. Brzenk, Cyplenkov, Pushkar, Larratt, Lupkes,Todd, Babyev etc all beat Voevoda if he'd stop doing judo and bobsledding.

Voevoda lost at 3 times in that tourney that I know of. Nothing a serious diet of crank couldn't fix in the off season prior to zloty 04!! Not sure why his fans are in disbelief, he lost numerous times prior to 04. Everyone does.

@mine1username And the first two videos as well, Lupkes controlled the match. He ran out of steam. I think he's just as powerful as he was, possible more so, just doesn't have the stamina and recovery as a 27 year old.

I love watching these guys. The only thing I wonder is about the elbow fouls. Seems like there was crazy elbow fouls in this series. I don't mean incidental, but huge elbow fouls. Whats the rules around them, and why is it so different in NOrth America compared to European armwrestling?

@kaigreg Unlike most pullers, Devon is stronger in the area's John is best at. There was nowhere for John to take the match. Nothing he could do. He must not have been too off, he won Nemiroff later that year.
