I love puppy dogs, my husband and Jesus (not in that order!)
I love people, life, outreach to the poor and patients in our rehab hospital.
My husband is awesome and I enjoy taking classes with my various dogs to help them be all that they can be!!

Here's a question: ARE YOU A GOOD PERSON?

Read the Ten Commandments (Exodus chapter 20).
We can come to the conclusion that none of us can possibly live up to God's righteous laws!

We've all stolen something, lied, or perhaps even took God's name in vain! By our own admission, that makes us a Thief, a Liar and a Blasphemer (and that's only 3 of the commandments!) The Bible tell us that if we have broken even one of the commandments, we are guilty of breaking them all! (James 2:10). That makes us all sinners.

If YOU were to stand before God and tell Him that you are a good person (in your own eyes) that would not save you from eternal punishment.
God is a Righteous Judge and our sin separates us from Him. He would have no other choice but to send you to an Eternal Hell. This is the same hell that was created for the devil and his angels. This concerns me ... does it concern you?

Here's the GOOD NEWS: God sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, to live among us. He was God, who dwelled in human flesh-- who faced all the temptation, hurt, pain, joy, sorrow and rejection that any human will ever face, but yet He was perfect and never sinned. Only He was able to be the perfect offering to bridge the gap between God and man.
He died on a horrible cross for your sins, my sins; the whole world's sins. By the shedding of His blood and taking the punishment we deserved upon Himself , He satisfied the penalty we all deserve--which is Hell.

God demonstrates His LOVE for us in that while we were still sinners, CHRIST DIED FOR US (Romans 5:8).

Jesus paid a debt He didn't deserve and one we could never pay. He loved you so much that He went all the way to the cross to die for your sins.

What LOVE and MERCY is OFFERED to all of us! With any gift though, it must be received. And the way to receive God's gift is through FAITH. We can accept that He paid the entire debt our sins cost us or we can choose to pay it ourselves. (Good luck!)

If you will choose to RECEIVE the FREE GIFT of Jesus' precious shed blood given for you, to cleanse you from ALL unrighteousness, then receiving the gift is very simple:

ACCEPT that Jesus died on the Cross for you.
Even if you were the only person in the world, He would have still done it! "God so loved the WORLD that He GAVE His one and only son that WHOSOEVER believes in Him will NOT perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

REPENT (which means turning away) from your sins.

ASK HIM to forgive you for your sins and to be your Saviour; asking Him to be the Lord and Master of your life. Your total trust is in Jesus, not in your own works.

The Christian journey is not an easy one. You may be ridiculed for your beliefs and being opposite to what the world believes is often challenging.
But it is worth it and you are not alone, because God's Holy Spirit will come into your heart and offer His peace which the world cannot take away! We love Him because He first loved us!

If you have taken Jesus to be your Lord and Saviour,
I want to be the first to congratulate you, as you begin your Christian Journey. Be sure to tell someone of your decision to follow Christ, read the Bible and find a Church that teaches and believes God's Word. (The Bible).

I AM the WAY and the TRUTH and the LIFE, no one can come to the Father except through Me. (The words of Jesus Christ, John 14:6)

"They will be His people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away". (Revelation 21:3 and 4)
Heaven will certainly be a wonderful place!

No matter what this world can offer, only Jesus fulfills the longing of our souls! I and many more will testify to this. "We've been there and done it."
