I am a homebody due to health issues but I love to read (my salvation), I love music, crocheting, quilting, scapbooking etc etc. I have 3 children. Noel(girl) is 16 and still at home. Natalie is almost 20 and has been married for about 18 months. She is an activities director for a nursing home. Her husband Dylan fixes and customizes motorcycles. Micah is 23. He has a degree in journalism and is a writer for the Lincoln(NE) Journal star. My husband & I have been married close to 28 years (child bride-highschool sweetheart). I have worked for the usps for 25 years this month. I currently work part time at a small office and I love it. We also have a dog named Riley. He is a cavachin which is half king charles cavalier & half japanese chin. And last but not least our diva, Sophie, a part siamese tuxedo cat.

Movies:
My all time favorite movie is To Kill a Mockingbird. The most recent movie that I could say I loved was The Painted Veil. I love period pieces and any thing with Christian Bale, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Chaplin and most anything with Johnny Depp. As far as television goes I don't watch much, as I would rather read, but I do love to watch American Idol and my daughter & I got hooked on Gone Country on CMT. Julio is a cutie.
Music:
Anything but heavy metal. Not too fond of most rap, although I've heard some I don't mind. I don't like punk if they are screaming. I would say I like bluegrass, folk, country, pop and jazz the best. I love Steve Earle, Alison Krauss, Jeff Buckley, Jennifer Knapp, Johnny Cash, Emmy Lou Harris, Norah Jones...
Books:
Mysteries, especially British ones. Historical fiction. Good literature. Some modern romances. My guilty pleasure is vampire romances.
