David's name heads this peerless psalm, which expresses, as none other, the soul of the universal Church and of the individual Christian. Notice the present tenses throughout these verses. God's tender dealings run parallel with our lives. He is never weary nor exhausted. When once He begins, He keeps on. Let us enumerate the blessings that He gives in such unbroken abundance, and as the fingers tell the successive beads, praise Him: forgiveness; healing, Exo_15:26; redemption from perils and accidents, seen and unseen; the crowns that He places on our unworthy heads; entire satisfaction, Psa_36:8; Isa_58:11; perennial youth.

I am trying to show you some settings "under the hood" of Virtualdub and why the Letter-Box settings MUST be turned down or shrunk to a smaller video resolution size, when recording, using the Microsoft LifeCam Studio web-camera.
The "MJPG" option that is clicked ON, allows for a true 30 frame per second capture rate, and uses the international jpg image algorithm, to capture the still images, into the virtualdub raw capture file.
As you can see, the Raw Capture file will grow, on you, very, very FAST!
That makes it difficult to be able to get smaller file sizes for the correct YT uploads!
I used BBFlashback Express, in the Region capture mode (no sound turned on), to do a screen capture, of the virtualdub control screens and the dialog boxes for the settings, so that you could see clearly, what I was doing and how I was pointing out some specific Capture Pin settings under virtualdub before recording a new capture file.
Hope this helps someone make more sense out of what is going on, when you do video capturing for your YT channel.
You can still do your original files (for personal archiving), all in Vitualdub, or else, just use the freeware version of Any Video Converter, and convert the Virtualdub raw capture files to the standard mpeg 2, DVD format (vobb files).
I used BBFlashback's own built in SWF converter, to convert the raw fbb (flashback file) to a standard swf file (flash or flv) before uploading it to YT here.
Hope this makes sense as to why the video capture run time is so important and why the Letterbox capture size is so important too.
A person will lose a lot of video quality, when using the Microsoft LifeCam Studio and going into YT (even though the original capture files are very brilliant, crystal clear, bright, clean color, etc.). The original files are so clear that you can see single tiny hairs sticking out of the hair on your head, even!
Anyway, hope this helps to make more sense out of things and why it is important to understand how to use Virtualdub and what is going on, with some of the Codec arms, etc.
My advice is that if you're going to make the best quality video you can make, using the LifeCam studio web-camera, and virtualdub, then make the record times SHORT and label the videos, part 1, part 2, etc. You can always normally recompress the raw files, using virtualdub itself, and some good codec arm, like either xvid or the h.264vfw codec. Both are fractal type codecs, but sometimes they are slow at post video reprocessing, especially if it a HUGE, and raw, rgby, virtualdub capture file, in the standard avi file type container.
Ciao!
P.S. There is a "black hole" in the data stream, from virtualdub, to the screen, then from the screen, to BBFlashback's own capture drivers. That is why you do not see my web-camera automatically turn on, in the virtualdub console.
