Cathleen Richardson has been a pioneer educational technology specialist for over 15 years. Cathleen works closely with classroom teachers, principals and district administrators providing professional development on best practices and ways to integrate cutting-edge technology to improve teaching and learning. Her expertise in the field of eLearning and Web 2.0 technologies is showcased through her column on the premiere educational web site Hotchalk.
She has been a keynote speaker at over 20 local, regional, and national conferences and subject matter expert in the areas of Web 2.0, eLearning, New Media, Internet Safety, Mobile Technology and Apple hardware/software solutions. Cathleen is a former Board of Trustee for the National Coalition of Girls' Schools and served on the Advisory Board for Tech&Learning.
Cathleen has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media from Clark Atlanta University, where she is a guest lecturer. She has also earned a Master of Arts in Instructional Technology from Troy State University. Cathleen is honored to be an Apple Distinguished Educator and a Discovery Educator. In 2007, she gained national recognition when she was named as one of four finalists in the Leader of the Year Program sponsored by Tech&Learning.
