I don't believe a Velineon is powering it. Don't get me wrong there GREAT motors but it is so undersized for that beast! IF it is powering your RC8Be its going to burn out soon! That's to much weight for that little engine. The mamba 2650 does just fine in my new RC8Be.......... i also have ...

So what place did you end up at? i just put together my RC8Be and it will be probably a month before i get to race her...... what tires where you using. i have the recoils from proline and they hook up great but forgot to check one wheel and ruined the whole rim as the nut was loose and tore up...

Where can i find shrink wrap that is larger than 3in wide? i have two 9.6v in shotgun formation that fell out of Stampede and fell apart (shrink wrap broke) but everywhere i look the largest i find is 3in. i have 3in wide shrink wrap and it will not fit.........thanks for all advice and great vid

@66CIR all brushed motors die easily also install an aluminum heat sink to help cool the motor off. go brushless, last much longer, happy bashing
