Casso Blax is a dynamic, fresh and versatile artist hailing from London, England. Displaying his immense passion and talent for music from a young age, Casso began his career as a DJ and producer. Rapidly honing his skills lyrically, Casso released his first mix CD "The Outburst" in August 07, which distributed over 50,000 copies up and down the country without any marketing or significant online promotion.
Due to the success of his first single "Falling Star", Casso was signed up by the mobile phone network Blyk Ltd as one of their feature artists on 'Blyk Music'. Other artists signed by Blyk include The Kooks, The Streets, Ironik, Sway, Dizzee Rascal and Glasvegas.
Having received over 90,000 downloads of his single, Casso Blax was chosen by the public to perform live in front of 70,000 people on the main stage of the Rise Festival, alongside the likes of Jimmy Cliff, Bashy, NoLay and TY.

In 2009 'Clocking my Face' hit itunes. The track was play listed on radio stations across the country. He followed with a remix that included 15 of the biggest names in the UK grime scene, the video for which accumulated over 50,000 views on YouTube.

In 2010 Casso released the single 'Out of the Zone', featuring vocals from R&B singer Jesse, and collaborated with rising star Dot Rotten, featuring heavily on the track 'I've seen so much' which credited wide recognition from the UK hip hop scene

Casso's new single 'No Gold-diggers' hit itunes and various music channels in January, going straight into the Channel AKA official urban chart after 2 days. The Dub Step remix was subsequently recorded, featuring Dot Rotten, Flirta D, Tayong and Shimmer.

Not only does he write all of his own material, Casso also writes and produces for other artists and has already worked alongside the likes of GFresh, Marvell, Flirta D, Black the Ripper, Twissman, Tayong, Ayo, Shimmer and Nu Brand Flexx.

His tracks regularly played on radio stations such as Choice Fm, Kiss, and BBC 1Xtra; Casso Blax is fast becoming a recognised name in the urban music scene. His music has evolved further into experimental hip hop and electro as he looks to progress into the mainstream.

Featuring his new track 'Things Ain't the Same', Casso will be releasing his official EP in time for summer 2011.
