En escena: el Dr. Lobo Guerrero, fiscal de la Inquisición; los inquisidores Lic. Bonilla y Lic. Sanctos García; el escribiente Pedro de los Ríos e Isabel de Carvajal (hermana de Luis de Carvajal).
Los inquisidores interrogan a Isabel de Carvajal, quien es seguidamente torturada. Confiesa los nombres de sus familiares que, como ella, practican la fé y mandamientos de Moisés.
