Hey, How would I go about starting a band? I really don't know anybody.
But I've wanted to be in a band since 9th grade. I know it's kind of dumb asking someone a barely know, but everyone that i've ever started anything with were more interested in other things than actually making music. I don't have any instruments either, but I'm working so I might be able to loan or buy something cheap.

Have you seen the state of GH/FP music lately?
It's really sad. I mean, living in Grand Rapids for four years, going to Britty's and the cage and stuff.
Then coming here and seeing all the pompous assholes in 'Nickelback-esque hard rock' bands, and the kids that DO claim themselves to be 'punk' are just as self righteous and un-caring as the people that don't.
Like, the unity, and the compassion and friendship is completely gone here.

Anyway, sorry about ranting on, but I've got to grab Merkit's final album, I think i've got one of their split 7's somewhere. Any other way I'd be able to get ahold of sock?
