@tang2family In 1999, Willing moved to Dallas for a stint as Chief Meteorologist at KTVT. He did that for nearly three years before moving back to San Antonio due to a family situation. As far as I know, he's out of television.

The artist singing this is actor Edward Winter (he was Col Flagg from M*A*S*H, and from Project UFO). It's not Edgar Winter from the Edgar Winter Group of the '70s.

@RayNDeere I believe you are right. Such was very infrequent, but I do recall seeing that billboard a few times on Channel 4 in Dallas (back when it was a CBS affiliate).

That recording doesn't sound like 1967 judging from the drum track. It's more like a remake from the 1980s. Don't get me wrong; it's still a good rendition, just not something from the sixties.

It's amazing how he's gone from ABC World News Now to this (even though WFAA is certainly not chopped liver, mind you). He'll do fine if he doesn't make a fool of himself on a third-place morning show that, when they are serious, is as good as any station in DFW.
