Pneumatic Ground Breaker Prop
This is my ground breaker from my 2008 haunt. I created it based on the Scare Factory's elderly walkers.
Sorry about the really slow repsonse, but got most of the pneumatics from ebay, or from a group buy. Also, I forgot to include the controller in that cost.

What I have done to make it last, is I bolt all the connections. In my original video on this prop I just used drywall screws and it didn't make it into the next season. But with bolts, I have never had one break on me.

Check out my other videos, I have one where it shows the whole thing and how it works. If you want to make one, just send me a message with your email address on it and I can send you a Word document with the instructions.

Pneumatic Ground Breaker How-To
This is a "under the covers" how-to of my favorite prop from 2008.
It's from Distortions Unlimited as part of their resurrection series. But someone has already checked, they stopped selling it.

Try rotating the lower arms (or elbows) so they point away from each other more. If that doesn't work you may not have the arms separated properly. The closest points on the arms should be about 27 inches apart.

Pneumatic Ground Breaker How-To
This is a "under the covers" how-to of my favorite prop from 2008.
It depends on the soleniod you are using and its power requirements. For this prop, I used a Picoboo controller which needs a 110V soleniod, so I basically used an extension cord. If you have a soleniod that is 12/24V, then you will need a controller that can use 12/24v and a transformer to pow...

Pneumatic Ground Breaker How-To
This is a "under the covers" how-to of my favorite prop from 2008.
I used 2x4 where I cut 4 pieces (2 upper arms, 2 lower arms) at 12" and 12 1/2" for the shoulders. If you send me an email to casa.fear[at]gmail.com I can email you back a word document with a how-to.

2 inch stroke, you can use 3/4" to 1 1/16" bore cylinders but the larger one really makes it shake and is what I used.

I used a picoboo, but you can also use a Prop 1 from EFK TEK, the programming is on their forum web site. Just search casa fear zombie.

Sometimes we have actors dressed up like zombies. Strangely, all we have to feed them is....lasagne. We never advertise, we are strictly word-of-mouth. I see these other yard haunts that get a thousand people on Halloween and spend that much on candy or there are a lot of people standing in fr...
