When Dugongs Turn Bad!

There is at least one documented population of dugongs that demonstrates "lek" mating behavior in Shark Bay, Western Australia. There male dugongs patrol areas about 1km square, waiting for females in estrous to swim through and select a male to mate with. They are known to defend their territor...
