I didn't realize that The Hollies were such great instrumentalists. They had moved up to Les Paul models by then. But the drummer is a wild man, too; but tasteful. I had understood them as primarily a vocal (incredible) group. Thanks for the vid.

The way the original singles were mixed we didn't get to hear the drums that well. (They have been remastered and a great job was done, too.) But at point .58 in this video (and thanks to the nice stage mix) we get to appreciate the genius of drummer Bobby Elliot. He holds down the drum throne ...
