I think Lemos has a great voice, is very musical and is a wonderful actor, but I do not think he is sexy. (Sorry mr. Lemos, but I suppose mrs. Lemos would like it better this way) :-)

Saw Jaroussky do this last week, and he is not castrated. It can be done by a man, and he did id it absolutely brilliant and very moving.

He does remind me of Klaus Maria Brandauer in "Mephistopheles"....like Nero was the devil himself. This aria is traditionally a speed record breaker among countertenors. It should be sung as fast as humanly possible!
