About Me:

I am a pianist and graduate of the Royal College of Music, where I studied with Yu Chun Yee. Early studies were with Beryl Tichbon and Norman Jones, who were pupils of Tobias Matthay. Subsequent studies have been with Paul Roberts. I have performed in London, France, Denmark and the South-West of England, as a recitalist (solo and concerti), orchestral pianist, chamber musician and accompanist to instrumentalists and opera singers. I have also been engaged as a music consultant for BBC Television in the filming of a period dramatisation of "The Turn of the Screw", which was broadcast on BBC1 in December 2009.

I teach the piano at all levels from beginners to advanced, having taught privately, in schools within the state and private sector, colleges of further education and adult education and at university level (predominantly in London but latterly in the South West of England).

I hope you enjoy the uploads! They were recorded on a Bosendorfer at a live concert with very modest equipment (applause edited out) in a beautiful church in Bornholm, Denmark in 2006.
