This is just ridiculous. This song is way melodramatic and and over the top . Thank goodness it was riding the coattails of Love Child and the group being propped up by the Temptations, or this would have bombed. How can anyone take this song seriously?

I just noticed Diana was disoriented, and mary looked angry, and given the girls conflicts around this time, it is conceiveable, their was a disagreement backstage. Since I spent for 94.00 to see Miss Ross back in March, I wouldn't say I hate her....

Since this song went to number one, and an estimated 36 million people continued to go to discos after cominsky park, It seems disco wasn't that bad, hahaha.

This sounds like a 7th grade student from some school of the arts wrote this. This has to be one of the worst songs released under the Supremes name. If it wasn't for "Love Child", and the work with the Temptations that had the Supremes propped up, way up, in popularity, this song would have been...

Flo Kicked @ss on this song, that's why this version couldn't be release. It showed the other Supremes had talent. By this point, Diana was the focal point, this was to much of a group, and the Supremes by now was just a lead singer and backgroud instead of a lead singer with backup singers.

This was re-damn-diculous. the worse song on this mediocore(sp?) album, and they sing it on national television. Just a shame. Mary and Pedro........

I noticed during the dialouge(sp?) through the song, Diana would look at Mary when singing her response, but not Flo. hmmmm
