@joyness33 I agree this is a rather dull song, it is far from Blondie at their best, and IMHO was a UK No.1 simply because the band were flavour of the moment in 1979. But don't judge them by this number, try "Hanging on the telephone", or "Atomic".

Some friendly advice. A better choice would have been one of the mezzo numbers, if asked I would have suggested "When a merry maiden marries". It's a nicer tune, and better suited to the singers range.
