About Just Imagine:
Well, I was in a guitar class at my school & I had just learned All You Need Is Love(Beatles) & my friend said something about the song Yellow Submarine(Beatles) & I was like, "Yellow Submarine, Love is all you need. Hey those kindof rhyme!" So, when I got home, I thought about names of Beatles songs & put the ones that rhymed together.
About Lost:
Well, Lost is one of my favorite songs! I love it because it has alot of meanings. When I was writing it, I didn't really have an idea in my head, I just wrote & then when I was finished, the song had many meanings &....I love that! :)
About Wanna Sing a Song:
The thesaurus is AWESOME! Without it, I wouldn't have been able to write this song. My mom told me that it would help me write songs & she was ridiculously right! I'm sure I wrote like, 2 to 3 different songs that week! I LOVE THE THESAURUS & this is one of my favorite songs. I think it's a really fun & happy song & I enjoyed writing it! :)
About The Guide:
When I was writing this song, I was thinking of the movie, "The Swan Princess". I know it's kind of random but that's what i was thinking of. At the beginning of the movie, Princess Odette & Prince Derek are put in a room together because their parents want them to marry when they're older. They don't want to be in the room together but they have to be. As they grow up they start to like eachother more. That's where the song came from.
About Carly Paige Live 1 & 2:
These are videos of me playing at a concert for Metro Auto Auction. I opened up for the band Sixwire, They were such great guys & I had a blast opening up for them. The songs in the videos are "Just Imagine" & "Further With It".
I finished Further with it about a day or 2 before the show.
About Honestly My Everything:
This is song is just about liking someone & wanting to tell them. It's one of my favorite songs because of the chords. I LOVE minors! They're my favorite chords EVER! And I use a couple minors in this song.
About Up Here Again:
I finished this song minutes before we recorded the video. I didn't really have a bridge so I had to write one before we recorded it. I recorded this video at my Dad's friend Dan's house. His son Jack recorded the side footage. *Thanks Jack :)
About It's Over Now:
I co-wrote this song with Ian Kirkpatrick. Ian is awesome! He's such a fun guy & I'm so happy that I got the chance to work with him! We've co-written a few songs now & I enjoy every session :)
About Wonderful Wreck:
Wonderful Wreck is a song that I had started writing & every time I would try to sing the chorus, it just didn't sound that great because there was no emotion. I had no inspiration. But a few days after I started writing it, my best friend's girlfriend broke up with him. When I saw how sad he was, it just broke my heart & it really gave me the inspiration I needed to sing the song.
