Just an average guy doing my thing. I love topics like, but not limited to, sports, politics, religion, science and sex. I'm a former Atheist turned evangelical Christian turned back to Atheist. It's just life. Politically I'm left of center but not a fanatical douche. My heroes are George Carlin, Noam Chomsky, Penn Gillette, Charles Templeton, MLK, John Lennon, Baruch Spinoza, Socrates, the Gallagher brothers and the gay teletubby. Anybody who can be honest with themselves, who they are and what they see in the world with the full capacity of intellectual honesty are my heroes. They are free in all the ways that I am not, but I'm trying. Power of the mind, power of action, power of thought and power to the people!
I live by the Golden rule. Though existing before Christianity and in other faiths and social systems in the world, it has differing variations. But I have to say that my favorite usage of it comes from Bill & Ted: "Be Excellent to each other. And party on dudes!"
