SÓC CATALÀ. I'M CATALAN.

I'm Carles, from Barcelona Catalonia Catalunya (Europe). CATALONIA IS NOT spain. (The country that is more in the south of Europe, just over Africa is spain, Catalonia it's in the Mediterranean Coast).
My native languages are Catalan (and spanish by imposition), but I enjoy a lot interacting with people from around the world in English.
I know a little German, I did a very short stay in Munich.
I can understand and talk some French, Italian and Portuguese.
I have a very notions about Cantonese Chinese.

Sorry if I do some mistakes in English, I hope you enjoy watching my videos as much as I have enjoyed creating them. Don't hesitate to contact me if you want. :-)

I discovered seriously youtube about 2007-01-10 (YMD) and I'm really amazed!.
First I thought that youtube was only a place where people upload funny videos, but later, I discovered that real persons create contents.
It has been amazing for me to watch playing miaarose, and anafree, or to watch the cool videos from Caitlin (TheHill88), Chad Vader...

After many years working hard, I finally see the light... things are going right now and I plan to live my life in a more funny, calm and unscripted way, free as the wind.
So it's possible that some day I come to USA just for fun.
I would like to be in California!.

I've started a series of videos about differences between living in Catalonia and spain to USA comparing because I feel we're very backward in technology and there is a lot of things that I don't like from Catalonia, and also, because I know more of you are interested in foreign, and European cultures.
The same way I learn from you, maybe you can learn and get surprised about the way we live here, and our customs, traditions...
Maybe at the end you decide that is better to live in your country. :-p
But I believe that there's full of great people everywhere.

The 11 of September is the National Day of Catalonia.
The 11 of September of 1714 the spanish and france armies invaded Barcelona, finished the Catalan freedom and started a dictatorship that still continues. As Catalan, I don't think as some European countries say "spain has a low quality democracy"; I simply think that spain is a dictatorship. I want the freedom of my Country: Catalonia, of my people, and a Catalan State or Catalan Countries that protects Catalan, our Culture, and our rights. As you could hear from many Catalans: I'm Catalan, I'm not spanish. We celebrate the 11 of September and we remember our heroes. Don't be confused if you see our celebrations in our National day, cause the 11 S was a terrible day for the States and for the entire World.

The Catalans around the world still fight for our Freedom.
We're peaceful, but everyone deserves Freedom.

spain takes all the money from the Catalan Countries to grow spain (except Catalan Countries of course). Catalan Countries are the only "regions" of spain that suffers fiscal deficit. We suffer a fiscal plundering, colonial economy, and they plunder from the Principality of Catalonia the 10,5 % of the GDP (gross domestic product. We call it PIB) what is simply not constitutional for an European country as Germany. spain plunders the 16-21% of the GDP in the Balear Islands and around 3.5% of Valencian Country.
spain is condemning the sons of Catalan Countries to poverty. Our competitiveness is dramatically injured, and young people can't emancipate. The small and medium companies cannot support the fiscal pressure and are closing while the spanish government subsidizes companies in spain and subsidizes people that are not working (PER - 580.000 persons with 920 € monthly salary for doing nothing, but only in spain). We pay with our effort and pain their benefits while they insult us and deny our rights.
Our people die waitting for operations in the hospital cause hospitals are colapsed, there's no money, no doctors, so a long queue.

Some serious studies bring information about the Catalan origins of Cristòfol Colom (Columbus) the discoverer of America. spanish gov. prefers to hide the Catalan origins of the discoverer because they have great interest in denying the history and rights of Catalonia and Catalans, and to hide the obscure, evil, and terrible felonies that the spaniards did and are still doing to my People.
