@rach1and1tiff > You have it wrong: " no comprendo" is " I don't understand/comprehend" (either one would work here with the meaning used.) If you want to say "I don't remember" you'd have to say: "(yo) no me acuerdo" or "no recuerdo". I am a native Spanish speaker. ;)
