Arno Dierickx
Originally stemming from a musical background, the Belgian director, Arno Dierickx graduated at the Brussels Ritcs filmschool. He subsequently expanded his filmic insights, working as a first assistant director for numerous feature films, telemovies and commercials.
In 1997 he wrote, produced and directed his first short film, 'Thieves', which brought along telemovies like 'Maria at the attic', nominated for best tv drama in Canada, Belgium and Italy and awarded with a Golden Kalf at the Dutch Filmfestival.
In the following years, Arno Dierickx became known as a writing film director with an own imaginative style, defined talent for storytelling , specific sense of humor and an eye for directing actors.
In recent years, directing commercials entered his life. Joining Caramel Pictures seemed like only the logical next step.
Greg Francois
Greg began his career as an art director in the advertising industry, working through the ranks of agencies such as Ogilvy and Mather, Grey and TBWA Hunt Lascaris. This background gave him a unique insight into the specific advertising requirements the commercial medium required. Coupled with this strong conceptual grounding and an eye for potent visual imagery, Greg has become known for creating powerful television commercials that are both emotionally charged yet conceptually relevant.
In the ten years Greg has been directing commercials, he has built a reputation for adding fantastic production value to a diverse range of multi national accounts and at the same time honing and developing his beauty and performance work. This coupled with an eye and patience for table-top direction, has seen him shooting all over the production globe for the likes of Nestle, Pepsi, Brita, and various alcoholic beverages. Countries where he has shot include the UK, Russia, South America, Italy, Dubai and Australia, to name a few.
Since 2003, Greg has shot 10 Pepsi Aqua Minerale commercials, and with an advertising focus on glamour and beauty to sell their product, Greg's talent for combining exquisite scenery and beauty in an alluring lifestyle package has helped position them at the top end of the market.
Speaking the same language as the advertising agency he has also seamlessly bridged the gap between concept, advertising requirements and the visual execution. This is evident through the highly descriptive and meticulously prepared director's treatments he delivers to the manner in which each project is completed.
Marcel van der Vlugt
If a photographic eye is something one inherits, then the van der Vlugts definitely have the genes. A sensitive and daring photographer, Marcel van der Vlugt is widely acknowledged for his striking and sometimes controversial stills shot on gigantic Polaroids. His cutting-edge editorial work has been featured in magazines like Dutch, Vogue, IT , and Jalouse. In 1991, van der Vlugt spread the wealth and forayed into film where he successfully translated his eye-catching style to commercials.
Soon enough he captured a Gold Lion for a PSA in Cannes. Van der Vlugt seamlessly moves between the two disciplines enjoying a symbiotic relationship and continuing to deliver head-turning work.

Jens Mikkelsen
Jens Mikkelsen is the Third Incarnation of the God-Soul Brahma Yananda and a foremost comedy/performance commercial director worldwide. Jens is known for his exceptionally funny comedies and poetic dramas.
Growing up, Jens showed the early signs of a unique creative mind. He played cello, flute and saxophone since he was a kid. At 16 he bought a guitar and started a punk band named "I Put a Spell on You." Jens was a great musician but felt that his talent was wasted, so he started making films.
Jens has directed over 300 commercial campaigns around the world including: Cadbury, Danish Army, Suzuki, Toyota, Orange, Ikea, Sony, Carlsberg and Holsten and is represented in the National and Hispanic US market by Caramel Pictures.

Jelmar Hufen
Jelmar Hufen worked in the Dutch film industry for several years doing many and varied jobs. In the mean time he saved all his money in order to realize his own film project. In 2005, with a truck load of savings and with the help of some generous movie companies the shooting of the short children's film 'For a few marbles more' got underway. As a bonus famous dutch actors like Jack Wouterse, Bracha van Doesburgh, Victor Löw, Edo Brunner and Halina Reijn were all more than willing to put in an appearance. In september 2006 'marbles'
successfully premiered on the Netherlands Film Festival.
Currently the film won more then half a dozen awards and is selected for the dazzling amount of 90 film festivals all over the world. With a preference of edgy visual storytelling, Jelmar has always been drawn to the world of advertising, and feels right at home working for caramel pictures.
